Overview

This is the 100%-remote, Strategy Head of Operational Training opportunity. You will oversee and manage the Initial, Requalification, Management and Local Certification Operator Training programmes. Administer Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulations (FANR) exams and validate that training material and delivery ensures student certification and adheres to the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure Operations training aligns with industry standards and adequately prepares students to successfully apply for and receive a certification
  • Establish and administer training programmes, including eSOMS training, as required to manage training needs for BNPP
  • Oversee and approve Operations training daily and weekly training schedules
  • Oversee and approve the development and maintenance of training programmes
  • Review the design and validate Operations training programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements
  • Evaluation and assessments of Operations training effectiveness 
  • Operate within any budget restrictions to supporting business performance objectives
  • Develop training team, including Operations training instructors to promote career opportunities within the department
  • Establish goals and priorities for direct reports with clearly define roles and division of responsibility.
  • Identify opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency
  • Provide input into the development of the Department’s systems and processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement
  • Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity 
  • Manage the effective achievement of the Organization’s objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, and providing formal and informal constructive feedback and appraisals
  • Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy

What is required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Science.
  • 7 years of relevant experience, 3 years in Nuclear Power Plant experience.
  • Knowledge consistent with the technical content and requirements of the training programs
  • Detailed knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training process
  • Well versed on industry accreditation processes.
  • Knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Industry
  • Detailed knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training process
  • The ability to work 100% remotely from your own home office.
